Deep Decisions? is a research-and-design-fiction project investigating the use of artificial intelligence as a design tool in music video production.

How are emerging technologies appropriated in music videos? How do they become design tools for new artistic expression, and can they challenge, elevate, mock, criticize, reinterpret, comment on broader societal traits and attitudes?

Deep Decisions? explores and tries to find answers to these questions through a fictionalized narrative told from the perspective of an Artificial Intelligence entity, in a not-so-distant future.
The project imagines a more intelligence-inclusive world, where AIs play an important role in the digital reconstruction of cultural artefacts, including music videos, since these represent both artistic outlets and mass-culture products.
